Alright not to be that guy, but I made an account to tell you that’s not how you should hold the knife. You shouldn’t have you index finger on the spine of the blade because that’s unstable, you can use you thumb to do that, or choke up on the blade with one or two fingers. In addition you should be cutting in a circular motion, your knife should not be leaving the board. Keep practicing.
